“I haven't felt this good about myself for a very long time! I have started to wear more colours whereas before I would just wear black!”.

During my pregnancy, I carried small lost a lot of weight and ate sensibly. Once I had given birth I got comfortable and extremely happy and the weight piled on. I tried the gym, personal trainer, diet pills the works without any success.

I am very insecure about myself, and the fear of being around people that are a lot slimmer than I am made me feel worse. My worries were commitment and self doubt, being a single parent, juggling child care and finding 'ME' time is nonexistent.

My eating habits have changed and I am more conscious as to what I eat. I do not diet because diets never work for me! However I do eat sensibly more so now than ever. I have bad days where I eat badly but it is only 'days' to oppose to 'Weeks or Months'. As soon as I feel myself drifting back to old habits, not only do I feel guilty I jump right back on my sensible eating plan.

My results to date are that my fitness level has escalated, my stamina has increased and I have more energy! I actual race with my son now... I am now 19st 6lb. Can't believe it... I can see the definition in my body shape and my clothes fit me sexy and comfortably.

I haven't felt this good about myself for a very long time! Especially when people notice the changes I get overwhelmed. I have started to wear more colours whereas before I would just wear black! I have gradually started to wear my swim suit without a sarong!! Whoop Whoop :-) I can see the changes happening slowly but definitely surely, and more to the point I am beginning to feel happy again.

I still have a long way to go but seeing what I have achieved during this period of time, motivates me to continue forward".

Zoe says...

“I can now get into same size trousers for the first time since the birth of my first daughter…I enjoy the time I have to myself each session, which is a real luxury with 2 children of 2 years old and 6 months".

"I didn't do any exercise before I started Boot Camp, other than the odd bit of walking, but that always entailed either walking at the speed of a toddler or pushing a double buggy. I knew that I was getting increasingly more unfit and felt that if I didn't do something about it, I would never lose the baby weight and that I would struggle to run around after 2 young children.

I thought everyone else would be much fitter and more able to do it than I am. They are, but I was never made to feel like I wouldn't be able to do it, or that I was a nuisance, only that I would be like them one day.

I find it much easier to do things with the girls - on holiday, walking up and down very steep hills while wearing an 18lb baby on my front, wasn't nearly as hard as it would have been before. Although I was still struggling to keep up with the other boot campers when I finished, I was able to achieve so much more than I did before.

I definitely had more energy when I was doing Boot Camp than I do now and actually miss exercise - something that hasn't happened in a very long time. I can now get into same size trousers for the first time since the birth of my first daughter. I lost about 8lbs in the month that I did boot camp.

I want to carry on and keep going - I enjoy the time I have to myself each session, which is a real luxury with 2 children of 2 years old and 6 months. I feel for the first time in a long time that my goal of losing 2 1/2 - 3 stone is now achievable".

“I have changed my dress size from a size 12- 10, having more confidence about my body…. I feel more toned, and I have more energy”.

" Before starting with FC Boot Camp I did no exercise, felt unfit. My worry was that I didn’t have time to fit it in, and they I wouldn’t be able to keep up.

I am now able to do more exercise, I have more energy and I enjoy coming to Boot camp and giving myself some “me” time.

I have changed my dress size from a size 12- 10, having more confidence about my body, my fitness level has got much better, I feel more toned, and I have more energy. I feel good in myself that I have continued to motivate myself into keep going. I recently found out that my BMI and cholesterol level’s are good, which 6 months ago would have not been the case. I like my new body shape".

“Boot camp as given me back the buzz for exercise which I used to have. I feel happier and motivated to continue and really enjoy the sessions”.

"Being a new mum I had got into bad habits snacking on the wrong kind of foods and doing little exercise other than walking. After booking our wedding I was desperate to make some changes and start exercising again. Prior to pregnancy I was relatively fit and healthy and wanted to get back to this.

I was a little worried about not being able to keep up and wondered if I would be able to juggle work/baby and time for boot camp. It has worked out fine though and I enjoy boot camp as its time to myself!

I feel lots fitter and have much improved energy levels. I am starting to feel better about my body shape and I'm eating healthier and I'm much more aware of food choices.

I want to feel happy with my body when I put on my wedding dress. The fitness, energy levels are a added bonus. Starting boot camp as given me back the buzz".

“I have lost just over 7 pounds in my first month with being at FC. My core is strengthening and each week the drills are more achievable.”

As a mother of two (toddler and an 8 year old) and working full time, time to myself felt like gold dust, by 9pm I would usually be exhausted! My eating habits were far from healthy, for lunch I would consume at least one of the following 3 times a week: Chinese, Indian, Pizza Hut or Nandos! Lunching with a pregnant woman didn’t help.I became very tired and lazy and before I knew it, I had gained a dress size! That was the point I knew I needed to make changes to my lifestyle.

The first thought that came to my mind, was I would be so unfit and would never be able to keep up with the group. I had a vision that members of the group would be of a certain physique and I would stick out like a sore thumb! FC has a great vibe; you have ladies of all fitness levels. The great thing about the group is the encouragement you receive from the members. Exercises are tailored to your level and you are gradually challenged, no one is left to feel they can’t participate.

I have made a huge U turn, my family have noticed the abundance of energy I now have, and I play a lot more with the kids without getting so tired. I have made time for myself. 45 minutes 3 times a week does make a huge difference to your fitness level if done regularly, before FC my time wasted on soaps. Most of all I feel happy within myself and a step closer to my goal.

My body has started to feel firmer in the right places! I can easily run for certain amount of time without collapsing! Running is not my strong point I have lost just over 7 pounds in my first month with being at FC. My core is strengthening and each week the drills are more achievable.

Since joining FC, my attitude has totally changed, I have learnt how to eat healthily without starving myself, I am definitely more confident and know this summer I will be wearing the clothes I want to wear, rather than shying away! "

“I have become more confident and my clothes look better on than they did before. I have increased stamina, energy levels and better flexibility”

Before I started boot camp I had put a little weight on and I felt like I had lost some of my strength and was nervous about starting a program with a group of other people who would probably be better than me! Since then I have lost the extra pounds I had put on and have become more confident as a result and my clothes look better on than they did before. I have increased stamina, energy levels and better flexibility. I feel better about myself so I have a better positive outlook on life.

“I have lost weight 10kg and 3 dress sizes. My family and friends can’t believe how my body shape has changed, I can actually breathe when I put my jeans on!”

I used to go to the gym while I was working full time in London but I was made redundant and I founded very difficult to get to the gym . When my second baby was 6 months and I had weight to lose and wanted to get fit. I was worried I wasn’t going to be able to make the first session but I did ( even if my legs were shaken by the end of it).

The motivation received from Clara and Brenda makes you get through the session easily. I used to go to the gym but I never really enjoy it. ) I actually enjoy training with Clara and Brenda and as we are all girls it is a very nice atmosphere. I will not change BC for the gym! Since I started Boot camp I am getting tighter and firmer and my fitness is much better. I literally notice the difference in my fitness looking back to when I started.

Clara and Brenda change the levels of the sessions week by week which it is a motivation as they are always pushing us to try harder Following Clara’s advise I have changed the way I eat and I feel better with the diet that I am following. Clara is always on the other side of the phone or email to help with any questions relating your diet. I have lost weight 10kg and 3 dress sizes. My family and friends that haven’t seen me in a while can’t believe how my body shape has changed, I can actually breath when I put my jeans on!

“Rather than seeing fitness as a ‘thing’ to do because you know you ‘should’, it has evolved to be becoming a long-term way of life and enjoyment. “

I tried a number of things but they never ‘stuck’ because life gets too busy. Whilst I have always been an active person, it’s difficult to maintain a good level of fitness all year round, particularly living in London.

About 16 months ago I gave FC Boot Camp a go and I’m the fittest I’ve ever been! For me, the key is having an excellent instructor (Clara), a convenient location and time, and a good support network of people to keep fit and laugh with.  I love doing exercise in the outdoors – the rain, mud, snow and even when there is sun reminds you you’re alive!

My perception of health, exercise and fitness has also changed. Rather than seeing it as a ‘thing’ to do because you know you ‘should’, it has evolved to be becoming a long-term way of life and enjoyment.

Clara goes above and beyond what is expected and she genuinely enjoys what she does – it’s infectious!  She is passionate about coaching and leading people to achieve good health and fitness and has the ability to adapt her training style to different fitness levels. Whilst it’s possible to keep fit on your own, despite all good intentions the reality is that you probably won’t. For me, going to boot camp two to three times a week makes it a reality!

“I actually have visible definition on my stomach, sit ups were the only thing I used to do in the way of sports before...and it made zero difference!) Six pack here I come!”

I had been an avid couch potato since skipping PE at school, and in the month or so before joining had started doing 'Get Fit With Mel B' on the PlayStation. My biggest fear was that it would be snooty super-buff women looking down their noses at me! And that I'd make a fool of myself from lack of co-ordination My fitness levels have soared, I have balance, I'm less clumsy, my figure has changed a lot, but mostly I am a lot more confident than I was - to the point of taking up a martial art, and just in little ways in my day-to-day life.

I can now run without getting a stitch for at least 5 minutes! And I actually have visible definition on my stomach (sit ups were the only thing I used to do in the way of sports before, a little sporadically but lots of them - and it made zero difference!) - six pack here I come! Also, because of my increased confidence, I am a more outgoing person than I used to be and generally happier because of it. I find that I have fewer mood swings and feel better. Thank you for being a great trainer, this is the only sports thing I've stuck with for this long, without bunking off, and it's honestly changed my life!

“I Got back on my jeans, I am feeling strong, happy and much more sexy.”

I was training but not methodically as I do now, I was running and exercise mostly every day but now I have got that stamina that it was missing. Woke up in the morning at 5.45am is difficult and I didn't want to lost any training sessions. Commitment and achieving goal is what wake me up in the morning, sessions are fun and very hard but I feel 3 times better then before. I still do 2 more extra classes in during the week and a run. I feel good. Got back on my jeans, I am feeling strong, happy and much more sexy. I feel very good and much more fitter, I have energy all day long to run after the kids and their activity.

Thank you for your time and your positive attitude. I decide to join the FC boot Camp because of you, I must thank you.

“I have a flatter tummy and firmer arms.  I feel more energetic and look great in my clothes”

I gave up spin classes to join boot camp and have never looked back. Although I enjoyed my classes, since starting boot camp my body has been transformed. My legs are more toned, I have a flatter tummy and firmer arms…more energetic…look great in my clothes. The other thing I love about camp is the other girls…the camaraderie is great encouraging and pushing each other through the workouts. I love it!

“I have toned up and have dropped a dress size and don’t mind walking or running so much.”

I hated walking, running, every sort of exercise and most all the gym. I was always after a quick fix with faddy diets, but woke up to the fact that exercise is the key. So boot camp has been a revaluation. After a month I noticed a big difference in my fitness. As others had said this more of fitness camp than boot camp, Clara is a real motivator and encourages you to remember your goals for boot camp. Doing exercise outside is big plus you somehow feel like you are doing something more proactive than you do in a stuffy gym. I would be lying if I said sometimes it isn't hard, but that's the point! You push yourself as much as you want to.

I can now boast I can do 15 full push ups! Boot camp is now part of week and I look forward to it, not only for the work-outs but socialising with the other campers. Results so far I have toned up and have dropped a dress size and don’t mind walking or running so much.

“I am so proud to show off my arms and can't wait to wear a LBD after 4 years this Christmas!!!”

When I decided to start boot camp it was because I was really unhappy with the shape my body was getting week after week and I didn't seem able to control it any more even by being on what I thought was a good diet. I was constantly obsessing about it, refused to wear jeans or anything colourful. Before joining I was very worried that I wasn't going to be able to get through a lesson, I honestly thought that I was going to look like a fool in front of everyone. I was training occasionally but found hard finding a routine on my own.

But Clara can really understand your limit by watching during your first training so you never feel like the least fit of the group, yet you are pushed hard enough to improve. I now realised that I am getting fitter by the week, I have changed my food habits easily, I don't feel constantly struggling with food because I know I can have my favourite meals on cheat day.

I am now stronger, I have so much energy during the day that I don't even have my afternoon coffee any more. I like my body and feel comfortable in it. And inches are decreasing. I don't care how many sleepless night my girls are having, at 5:40 I am up and ready to go! ( for those who knows me it comes like a shock. I like my sleep) It is an amazing feeling. I feel "successful" if it makes sense and I am so proud to show off my arms and can't wait to wear a LBD after 4 years this Christmas!!!

Thanks to Clara for her amazing training technique and true care that she shows towards us. We are all happy mummy's now.

“In short, 4 weeks in I am 1 DRESS SIZE SMALLER! & MUCH, much fitter! A*”

One month in and I am compelled already to write a review. I was so nervous the first trial day because I am very very overweight and very very unfit, and 6 months in to motherhood so basically everything went kaput body wise. I thought I wouldn’t be able to attend ...and I would be surrounded by uber fit women silently mocking me and a trainer who wouldn’t bother with me as I was beyond help! How far from the truth was I? During training (after a thorough warm up) I am introduced to kettle bells, running around cones, pushups, squats, running through a ladder amongst other varied activities. I found it all challenging but not undo-able and I finished the boot camp wondering where the past hour has gone and feeling excited about the next lesson!

“I am finally seeing a difference in my body, I feel like I am getting tighter and firmer in places and my general fitness is much better.”

I am generally quite an active person and have been doing fitness for about the last 5 - 6 years, during this time i have always been a member of a gym. I also try to take part in a charity race (5k or 10k) every year. At the gym I have tried it all; classes (body pump / step / circuit / zumba / Pilates / body conditioning / aerobics / boxing), treadmill, cross trainer, free weights etc etc. I also used to go street running as an extra to all of this, so all in all I'd say I was working out 2 - 3 times a week. During this time I have never quite got to where I want to be physically and have definitely not enjoyed any of it!!

Since starting Boot camp in May 2010 twice a week it has been completely different! I am finally seeing a difference in my body, I feel like I am getting tighter and firmer in places and my general fitness is much better. I literally notice the difference in my fitness levels week by week at boot camp and the good thing is Brenda and Clara are constantly mixing things up and throwing in different training sets so you can never get bored. I still have a bit to go – which I know is diet related too – again Brenda and Clara really help on the nutrition side of things with good, realistic and practical advice which is easy to follow. The other aspect is the girls in the group - everyone is there with the same intention and we all struggle through huffing and puffing but always having a laugh – which you just don’t get in any gym!!

“I’ve been doing boot camp for eight weeks now. I’ve dropped a dress size and am already heading for another – my clothes are getting baggy again.”

I had been yo-yo dieting for most of your life, and decided to try out Fitness Choices Boot Camp. It hurt, especially after the first session, but as each session passes, I got stronger and my stamina improved.

As I learnt to eat better and with all the sweat and hard work, I visibly saw my body change and that’s no exaggeration. I’ve been doing boot camp for eight weeks now.

I’ve dropped a dress size and am already heading for another – my clothes are getting baggy again. I have a waist now and I have more arm muscle and less bingo wings!! And I love it. I won’t lie, I hurt through every session, Clara and Brenda push me as far as they know they can, they’ve taught me the correct techniques of so many exercises – I couldn’t even do a push up when I started but I can now. And it’s not just the physical side that’s working – Clara and Brenda are great at encouraging and motivating you and getting you mentally strong.

They are very committed and hugely passionate about what they do and if you tell them your goal and if you’re prepared to work hard, they will go all out to help you reach that goal. They actually take pride in what they’re helping you to achieve and their excitement when you tell them if you’ve lost weight or you’ve dropped a dress size or someone has paid you a compliment is absolutely infectious. I even had a text one night after a session from Clara telling me how fantastic she thought I looked and I couldn’t stop smiling for the rest of the evening.

This is one of the best things I’ve ever done and I am so grateful a friend told me about it. I now have a new group of friends who all support each other, two great trainers who are a real source of inspiration and I’m feeling pretty good about myself right now. I’m happy!
